Executive of Student Recruitment Office
Job Description
Counsel and advice potential students & their family members on the admission requirements for their desired study programme.
Give through explanation to the potential students and their family members on details of programs and the requirement.
Generate promotional materials (pamphlets, poster, etc.) to keep the public aware of the availability of study programmes in the University.
Liaise with schools, colleges and other educational institutes for promotions and recruitment purposes.
Participate in educational fairs and exhibitions, locally/ abroad. Help organize “Open Day” in campus.
Assist in daily operations of the Student Recruitment Office, including attending to walk-in students.
Perform duties on weekends or Sundays or Public Holiday (if necessary) to conduct advertising and promotion activities.
Update/Maintain all relevant data base (correspondence, files, records, etc.) for administrative use.
Attend to the admission requirement of international students.
Familiar application procedure of potential International Students to EMGS (Education Malaysia Global Services).
To review, revise, recommend and set admission criteria with a view to those of other similar higher learning institutions.
To liaise with agent from overseas or local with the main purpose of International Student Recruitment.
Perform other tasks as may be assigned by Management.
Executive
We are looking for Executive in the following Departments:
Faculty of Business and Management
Preferably Bachelor holder with STPM, with strong English communication and writing skills. Knowledge in Microsoft Office is essential. Candidate with relevant working experience will be an advantage to this position.
Institute of Graduate Studies and Research
Candidate must be at least a Master holder with at least 2 years working experience in administration or secretarial field. Ability to speak & write in three language and knowledge in Microsoft Office is essential. Candidate should be able to arrange events (training/workshop/conference), prepare and compile meeting minutes/MQA/MyRA audit required documents, handle enquiries (walk-in/phone/ email), manage research & postgraduate studies related issue / events / activities, developing strategies, services & supports for faculties for effective teaching practices.
Public Relations and Fund Raising Office
Candidate must have strong communication and negotiation skills. Ability to speak and write in Mandarin is a must as this position requires candidate to deal with people in Mandarin for fund raising purpose. Preferably candidate which posses own transport and willing to work overtime when required.
Asset Management and General Affairs Office
Preferably candidate with relevant experience in asset management, quality assurance, and purchasing related field. Knowledge in Microsoft Office and Adobe Software is essential to the position.
Ability to speak and write in three language with strong negotiation skill will be an advantage to this position.
