Responsibilities
Working closely with the relative module leaders and the Head of Academic
Responsible for delivering the programme using approriate teaching and learning and assessment methods, effecting any necessary modifications, communicationg information to students
To ensure the effective planning, management and review of the programme, adhering to specified monitoring and evaluation procedures
Programme leaders are also responsible for taking forward any new programme proposals following due process and in accordance with faculty strategy
Respond to feedback from students, external examiners, Professional, Statutory and Regulatory Bodies (PSRBs) and industry
To ensure student representatives are allocated to the programme board, and that all students have access to personal tutor
Have good communication with colleaguses across university and collaborative partners and with external bodies and national organisations.
Involve in operation as needed by management
Responsible on student numbers, be part of marketing team and aggressively out for education fairs and road shows
Plan and deliver lessons / learning materials for students
Prepare assignments, examination papers and marking schemes in accordance to MQA requirements
Mentor and motivate students to achieve their highest potential
To carry out other duties related to teaching as and when necessary

Requirements

Preferably candidates with Master's in Hotel Management / Hospitality or Minimum Bachelor Degree in Hotel Management / Hospitality
At least 4 year(s) of experiences in industrial at supervisory level or 2 year(s) in teaching
Candidates with at least 1 year of teaching experiences are encouraged to apply
Candidate must display strong interpersonal and presentation skills
Dynamic and enthusiastic
Strong interest in nurturing students to help them achieve their potential
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia

Only shortlisted candidates will be notified. Candidates will be required to conduct a mock teaching exercise.
