Position: 

PURCHASING MANAGER

Requirements:-

• Purchasing Manager should work with suppliers to negotiate contracts for purchase of required goods and keep accurate records of transactions trends.
• To assist the Finance and Operational Departments in the monitoring, reporting and controlling of Cost of Sales in the hotel, including audit and control, financial analysis and reporting, budgeting, forecasting etc.
• To implement sound purchasing policies, systems and procedures in accordance with Company Standards.
• Monitor vendors for quality, service and price through standard purchasing specifications.
• To also obtain competitive quotations for hotel requirements and ensure that the best product is sourced and purchased.
• Ensure the efficient operation of the Purchasing Department in all aspects.
• Requirement: Must have strong negotiating and closing skills along with demonstrated ability to develop negotiation strategies for complex activities.
• Minimum 03 years’ experience in the related with proven track records in 3-5 star hotel properties
• Excellent communication skills in English and Malay
